Back from Waco, and it was a blast!  Rode up there yesterday behind Bissetti and Frentz, then saw some TKEs before they headed out (to Houston, ironically enough) for Spring Break.  Sadly, they didn't want to go to George's (like I wanted) but instead went to Waco's new Hooter's.  Horny bastards.  They could have gone to Hooter's in Houston.  Moving on.  I met their friend Si, owner or Halo and the soon to be Whiskey Bar & Grill.  Then we went to Walmart so I could get a cheapo swimsuit for the hotel pool and the cheapest collared shirt ever to go to Halo that night.  The pool was filled with tattooed people.  Even this 8 year old kid had a tat (it may have been fake).  Went to lunch with Dr. Mo today, then rode back to H-town.

On another note, does anyone else hate that stupid whore in the Verizon Wireless commercials that goes into the changing room and listens to Black Eyed Peas while her loving boyfriend is waiting outside?  What a skank.  He should seriously hook it up with one of the sales girls.  That's how I feel.  Peace.

Another week has gone by.  I'm not longer on Sterling Chemical, so I don't have to drive to Texas City until about November (unless I get picked up to do some quarterly work).  So I spent Friday completing my last workpaper, then completing my evaluation.  I must say, I've improved in the feedback dept since I started.  My first eval I did was completed 3 months after I had rolled off the engagement.  Oops.  Anyway, it's been a good week.  Tursday night was the interns' last Happy Hour, so Cody and I crashed that because, hey, free booze.  Then the kiddos wanted to go out and drink more, and I did not excercise good judgement.  We went to Volcano until about 11:30, or so.  I don't really remember (I was slightly innebriated).  So I woke up Friday morning on the floor of my entryway.  Why does that keep happening?  Anyway, 8 o'clock rolled around, and I had sobered up enough to ride my bike to work.  It was pretty sweet, cause I parked in this parking garage the is $25 a day, but I didn't pay a dime because I just rode around the gate.  Hahaha.  The best part, a manager is the one who told me to do it.  Whooo!  So last night Cody and I went to Logan's for dinner w/ his dad, then to the Mucky Duck to see Reckless Kelly.  Good stuff.  Crowded bar, but I was eventually able to snag a table for 2 about 5 seconds after the previous occupants had walked off.  So Cody and I enjoyed our beers by candlelight.  Highly romantic.  Then I just came home and crashed.  Today Bissetti and Frentz are driving up to Waco, but it's so beautiful that I'm gonna ride my bike alongside them.  It's upside of 80 degrees today.  Sooo nice.  Makes me wish my friends would hurry up and get bikes that work so we could ride together.  Whatever.  I'd better get ready to head out.  Peace!

So, I just created a myspace deal the other day, but I haven't done anything to it yet.  I also kind of forget my password... oops.  I'm thinking that if I use it, I'll just copy and paste the stuff I have over here and throw it there.  No sense in dual entry blogging, eh?  So, Saturday night was about as good as Friday.  Went to the Firehouse Saloon (country??) for some band Cody wanted to see.  I've gotta say, they were not country.  I'd like to think of them as Texas Rock.  Nothing in the way they played implied country.  These are guys with tattoos and piercings.  Much more punk rock.  Anyway, its the Bleu Edmondson Band.  Check it out.  Not everyone wanted to stay at a saloon, so some of us headed over to Sherlock's (good old Sherlock's).  Cody stayed back with his Danbury friends, and even got a number (this time from a woman who wasn't his mother's age, we're all very proud).  So Sherlock's was fun, but I didn't get as drunk.  Look at me, I have restraint.  Sunday I woke up and went to church (without my alarm, no less), then went over to a guy's place to eat a BBQ boar he had killed.  It was AWESOME!  Pork just tastes better when you know the person that shot it/ ran it over with their truck.  There's still some question on where the pig came from, but I figure the fire burned off anything unsavory.  Rode my bike over 100 miles this weekend.  Now I'm almost to 4,000 miles in the saddle.  That being said, I've just bought a new seat.  Imagine this with an orange flame instead of red:

So, that'll look nice.  Tonight marks the first time I've been to the fitness center @ my apt since Matt was here in May.  9 months without a workout, it's a wonder that my blood hasn't hardened.  My reasoning for this sudden visit to the gym is 2-fold.  #1, Oz had to work late again.  Last week when she worked late, she told me to drink a beer for her @ 9:30.  I happily obliged.  Today I asked if I could have another beer for her, but sadly, she's on a diet and needed me to run a mile for her instead.  So I did that and used the bench press a bit.  Maybe I'll be impressive one of these days.  Reason #2 - I'm planning on going on a Carribean/ Bahama/ tropical island cruise this summer.  If you'd like to join up, feel free.  I'm getting my travel agent auntie to do some legwork and see if she can get me a good deal.  So far, Cody and I ar planning on going because we aren't yet assigned, and it's best to take off work before you get thrown on a job.  Steve may go, it depends on how he feels on the subject.  I've never been on a cruise with just my friends, so I'm thinking this will be a kick ass experience.  Tomorrow is Los Cucos Tuesday, so you all know what I have planned.  Plus, this is my last week in Texas City.  Actually, Wed could be my last day there, then I get to chill in the office.  My next client is 18 miles down I-10 W, so it's closer, but the road is FUBAR so it may end up taking me the same amount of time.  Here's hoping.  Anyway, I've gotta go clean my bike so it's nioce and clean to ride tomorrow.  Sleep tight, all.

I just got back from a Friday night out with the boys.  If you hadn't noticed, it's Saturday morning now.  So, the night started innocently enough. Went to Logan's with Oz, Zim, Cody and Walker, then went back to Cody's to try to rouse Stephen enough to go to the bar.  He had locked the dead bolt, so Cody was effectively locked out.  We all went to the Tavern (except Oz, she has to work today).  Met Mark's sister and her friend, good times.  Then went to Sherlocks and saw Andis.  That guy is ca-razy!  He was dancing like a white boy, and even got Cody to shake his groove thing.  After accumulating a $90 bar tab, I figured it was time to go "home."  So we make it safely back to Cody's, where we proceed to fight sumo/ wrestlemania style.  Thankfully, Stephen caught it all on tape.  It's pretty funny, except for the fact that everyone there outweighed me by at least 50 lbs, so I was thrown around like a ragdoll.  I just hope that video isn't distributed to all of Deloitte via email.  After the fighting, I was pretty drained, so I guess I passed out on the couch for a few hours.  Now I'm home and ready to get into my own bed.  It's been awhile since I've written a post this detailed (and drunk), so I'm thinking this will be a good weekend.  Peace!

So, I just got done washing my bike, because 11 @ night is really the best time to do it.  After checking tomorrow's weather, I decided it couldn't get much better than 70 and clear, so I should make my bike presentable.  It's been kinda chilly to ride recently, plus my parking garage is dusty as hell, so there was a nice layer of black on top of my paint.  By the end, the water was about the same color as my sunglasses.  So, I feel accomplished.  And my bike is clean and shiny again.  I noticed something kind of disturbing while washing it, though.  I was caressing it as though it were a woman.  I would go over it with a wet cloth, then a dry towel, and almost massage it.  There may be a fine line between loving your bike, and LOVING your bike.  I'm not saying I'd sleep with it, or hit it up the tail pipe or anything, but it is indeed a beautiful machine.  She may need a facelift sometime, maybe some accessories, but after Thurs, she'll be all mine and I can give her what she deserves.  Full coverage insurance for one.  Initially, I thought that if anything too bad happened to my bike I would just buy another one (or be dead), but I really like this machine, and I think it will suit me for quite awhile.  Just a few tweeks here and there and it'll be unique.  First off, I need a new seat.  I'm thinking the Corbin gunfighter.  After that on my shopping list are new front and read turn signals, new brake light, and possibly an after market exhaust.  My only fear is that if I get that last thing, I won't be able to hear my MP3 player.  If you don't know me 1) I love my music and 2) why in the hell are you reading my xanga?  Work was good today.  I was even able to go to the post office during my lunch hour to mail off my request for defensive driving for the ticket I got on my bike.  So, now I just have 1 outstanding ticket in Falls County to worry about.  Maybe I'll call them tomorrow.  I just need to remember to keep my speed on the low side tomorrow morning.  Another contributer to why I'm riding my motorcycle: my car is about outta gas.  I don't want to have to push it to Texas City, so I'm thinking my full 3.7 gallon tank will be safer.

Tonight was good.  Got some chinese food with Derrick and he and his dog hung out here for a bit.  I also got the new Dennis Kirk magazine.  It's chocked full of parts and accessories for me to put on my bike.  Tomorrow is coming sooner and sooner, so I'd better hit the hay.  Peace out, ladies and gentleman.
